Help Kenzie's Family During Tough Times

Hello, Our Dear Community of Friends,

We absolutely adore our Kirkpatrick Farms neighbors -- we are a village that has LOVED seeing our kids grow and play together over many years. (We moved here in 2007!)

We are writing to ask that you help support the Munsey family who just recently learned that their 12-year-old daughter, Mackenzie, aka Kenzie or Mack, is ill with stage 3 kidney cancer.

Kenzie has undergone a successful surgery but still needs to undergo more radiation and 23 weeks of chemo treatments. As any parent can understand, this is a tough time for Candice and Micheal Munsey, Kenzie's adoring parents.

To support them, our neighbors thought it'd be wonderful to send "thinking of you" love notes, a meal train, and financial support. While they feel blessed to receive the love and support of good friends and trusted medical care, there are added costs and tremendous worry.

We want the Munseys to just focus on getting Kenzie healthy and strong -- not financial debt incurred by out-of-pocket costs EVEN when they have medical insurance.

Also, we thought it'd be great to have the neighborhood kids come together in July and make friendship bracelets with words of affirmation since Kenzie is a "Swifty" ;-)

Again, thank you SO much for your generosity and kindness. We know the Munseys are eternally grateful for their "hood" and its surrounding community to have their back.
