Help Kelsey and Hunter get back on their feet!

Hi everyone!  Some people I care about are struggling and they need OUR help!  Kelsey is a single mother to one of my son, Ethan’s, good friends, Hunter. Kelsey and Hunter have endured far too much pain over the last year and a half. Hunter’s father, Dave, passed away unexpectedly due to medical reasons in the fall of 2017. Dave’s absence still saddens many of Hunter’s friends and their parents, as Dave was always an upbeat, supportive fan to all of our boys during fall and winter basketball seasons!  The loss of other family members has been added to their emotional burden as well, but the need for your help comes with their latest challenge. Kelsey has had a HUGE setback due to Chron’s disease. She was supposed to begin a new job in January but that hasn’t been able to happen since she’s been hospitalized for a total of 35 days and counting, 4 of which were in ICU, since the end of December.  We were hoping she’d be able to return home this weekend but that won’t be happening. She’s due to have her 6th (could be more, she’s honestly lost count at this point) CT scan tomorrow with the hope of doctors finally figuring out what’s currently going on and offering her some hope. To say that Kelsey is exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally, is an understatement. She wants nothing more than to be home with her boy, who spends his time worrying and fearing things that no teen should have to. Hunter himself was just quite ill and missed more than a week of school and basketball (dad,  mom and basketball are his passions). In addition to sending positive, healing thoughts and prayers to Kelsey and Hunter, please consider donating money to help alleviate costs of medical care, daily living expenses, heating oil, etc. Kelsey and Hunter have truly fallen on tough times and need our help!
