Help Us Protect Our Family – Legal Fund for Custody Battle

Dear Friends and Family,

This is one of the hardest things we've ever had to do – ask for help. But right now, we’re facing a legal situation that we simply can’t manage alone, and we need the support of our community to protect our family.

Recently, after a Child Protective Services (CPS) call was made by Jayden out of concern, Charles’ ex-wife and mother have retaliated in the most devastating way: by targeting Kelly directly with serious and deeply personal accusations. These claims are not only false, they are deeply hurtful and threaten everything we’ve worked so hard to build for our boys.

They are pushing in court to have us completely removed from the boys’ lives — seeking no contact for five years — based on what amounts to character assassination. These tactics are not just emotionally damaging, they’re legally overwhelming.

We’ve reached out to every resource we could find, but no pro bono or legal aid attorneys are able to take this on due to the complexity and urgency of the case. We've been advised that representing ourselves in court could put us at even greater risk of losing custody.

We’ve finally found a lawyer who is not only experienced, but understands the stakes. They’re willing to take on our case with a minimum retainer of $2,500 – the lowest we've been able to find after weeks of searching.

We are humbly asking for help. Anything — truly anything — you can contribute will go directly toward securing legal representation to fight for our family, to ensure the boys stay safe, and to give us a fair chance to be heard.
