There are people who talk about making a difference, and then there are people who dedicate their lives to actually doing it. For years, Keesha has been one of those people. Born and raised in this community, she has never forgotten where she came from. Instead of leaving and looking back, she chose to stay invested in the very neighborhoods that helped shape her. She has spent countless hours creating opportunities for our youth through mentoring, community giveaway events, and programs designed to inspire, educate, and uplift.


This summer marks the 5th year of her youth summer camp—a labor of love that has become a safe place where children can learn, grow, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. Unfortunately, just as camp is in full swing, disaster struck. The camp van—the vehicle that safely transports our children to the pool, educational trips, recreational activities, and other summer adventures—has broken down beyond repair. If you've ever been touched by Keesha, watched her serve without expecting anything in return, seen her show up for our community year after year, we're asking you to help us show her the same love she has shown all of us.
