We are facing the possible deportation of our brother, uncle, friend, and coworker, who truly embodies the spirit of compassion and community service. Sending him away would deeply affect his family, upset his patients, and remove a valuable healthcare provider from our community.

The pain, confusion, and sense of helplessness we have experienced as a family have been unimaginable.

Let me be clear: my brother is not a criminal. He has been working successfully and legally for over 30 years, paying taxes, and contributing to society. He poses no threat. He is the kind of person any country would be fortunate to have.

He has been a Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 23 years. He is loved by his patients, respected by his colleagues, and cherished by all who know him. His kindness is truly remarkable—he brightens every room he enters. He is generous, joyful, and always willing to help others.

He is in his 50s and is a highly respected physical therapist specializing in home health care, serving the most vulnerable members of our community—our elderly population who are unable to leave their homes. For many years, he has been a source of hope and healing, helping numerous individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

This situation is far from resolved. Deporting him would be a significant loss, not only for our family but also for the many lives he has touched. We remain hopeful and are praying that he will be allowed to stay.

Our country needs more people like him, not fewer.
