On February 24, ICE agents stormed Colony Ridge and took Erik Payán—a husband, father, and small business owner with no criminal record—from his workplace.

Erik is deeply loved by his community and church. He is the sole provider for his wife, their two daughters—including one who is wheelchair-bound and battling a severe infection—and their two-year-old granddaughter, who had open-heart surgery last year and now depends on tube feeding and weekly specialist visits.

His wife, Alejandrina, watched helplessly through their security camera as he was taken. At the same time, their daughter lay in a hospital bed, learning through the news that her father had been detained.

Now, Erik is facing deportation, and his family is in urgent financial need to cover bail fees, medical costs, and basic living expenses while they fight to bring him home.
