Help Keep the Lanikai Christmas Star Shining

Each holiday season, the Lanikai Christmas Star lights up Ka‘iwa Ridge and brings joy and hope to everyone who sees it. For many in our community, spotting the star is a cherished tradition that marks the start of the holidays. It’s a simple gesture, but it brings people together, sparks memories, and reminds us all of the spirit of giving and togetherness.

The star doesn’t appear by magic—it’s set up, powered, maintained, and taken down each year by dedicated volunteers. Over time, the costs for materials like solar panels, lights, and wiring have grown. We want to ensure the star continues to shine brightly for years to come, but we can’t do it alone. Your support will help us cover these expenses and keep this beautiful tradition alive for future generations.

If the Lanikai Christmas Star has ever brought you joy, comfort, or a sense of holiday spirit, please consider donating or sharing this page with friends and family. Every contribution, big or small, helps us keep the star shining. Mahalo for helping us preserve this special part of our community.
