As mental health professionals, we wanted to create something special that provides practical support to other mental health professionals and organizations, so we could all work more efficiently, and reclaim time for ourselves and the therapeutic relationship with our clients. We chose to design, fund and build Tenuit ourselves to ensure it remains a trusted, free platform.
We believe our community deserves a free, elevated user experience that is both accessible and transparent. We feel strongly about this because big mental health tech companies continue to structure their business models without our benefit in mind.
Since launching Tenuit last year, keeping it running has been a labor of love. With the time and money we’ve invested, we’ve enjoyed seeing how it has helped so many of you. It has been so rewarding being able to take in invaluable feedback and integrate it so quickly into newer iterations of the platform. We also hear your bigger ideas for how Tenuit can continue to evolve and meet your needs:
- Creating an interactive map for professionals to see exactly who is practicing around them, making in-person get-togethers in your area even easier
- Planning more community events for both gathering and learning
- Making it easier and more efficient to search for psychotherapy and peer groups and fill your psychotherapy groups
