Help Keep Reyna & Ajani Together

First and foremost, I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who supported me through my first GoFundMe campaign. I was able to obtain two lawyers. One initially for the parental agreement my ex and I had been drafting in order to set up a plan for when I moved back to England with my son Ajani. The second lawyer was needed after my ex flipped the script and obtained a court order stating that he did not want me to leave the country (France) and that he wanted my son to live with him at the last minute.

We ended up going to court on July 5th and receiving a decision on July 9th. The decision stated that my ex would have primary custody and that I would not be able to take him out of the country. It turns out that after I left my ex, he and his family had been planning a series events since August 2019 that would lead to my son being taken out of my primary care. I had obtained a flat in England, hired a moving van and even had a school for my son to attend near my new home in Luton England (45 minutes from London).

Time Sensitive: I have until August 19th to appeal this ruling and will have to retain a lawyer quickly in order to build a proper case.

The new order disregarded all of my witness statements, even from my French friends who have so graciously taken me in during this time, otherwise I would be homeless here. They have set the visitation to 15 days for me and 15 days for my ex in a rotation which, along with Covid, makes it virtually impossible for me to go back to England to even regroup.

Meanwhile, my 5 year old little boy is caught up in all of this and my heart is broken every day that I am not with him.

I am asking for everyone who can to support me in this new GoFundMe campaign in whatever capacity you can. I have been in contact with journalists and hope that my story will gain traction. And I am not alone in this dilemma, please take a look at the attached Guardian article that features women like me who remain caught between their country of residence and homes based on antiquated family law. My family at large is really battling the forces of evil right now. We are being attacked on all fronts, but my faith is strong. Please spread the word and help me get funding together for a new lawyer so that I may appeal this ludicrous decision. For all of you that are praying people, please keep me and my family in your prayers and thoughts while we prepare for this the good fight.
