As most of you know, I run a Plex server that a bunch of you use to stream movies and shows, especially when you're not at home. Plex recently made some changes that affect how remote streaming works — but don’t worry, I’ve got it covered.

Right now, I’m paying for a Plex Pass subscription, which means everyone can still stream remotely without paying anything. That’s not changing.

This GoFundMe is more of a “nice to have” than a must. Plex recently doubled the price of the Lifetime Plex Pass — it's now about $395 CAD after tax — and while I’m totally fine keeping the monthly subscription going, I figured I’d put this out there just in case people felt like pitching in.

If the lifetime pass gets covered, great — I can stop paying monthly and keep everything running permanently with no more fees. If not, no stress at all — remote access stays free for you either way :)
