With LIHEAP assistance currently halted, many local families are facing the cold months ahead without reliable heat.

At SWiTCH Mental Health Services, we believe no one should have to go cold. We want to help limit the safety risks placed on people in our community during this difficult time.

We’re collecting donations to purchase electric heating blankets for individuals and families who are having difficulty keeping their homes warm.

Please note: SWiTCH Mental Health Services Inc. is not a nonprofit 501(c)(3 or 4) organization. However, all donations received during this community initiative will go directly toward helping those in our community and are in no way considered revenue income for SWiTCH Mental Health Services.

[If you prefer to purchase the electric blanket directly (in lieu of a monetary donation)- New Electric Heating Blanket donations will be collected at our office location of 903 Old Scalp Ave suite 276 Johnstown, PA 15904 ]

Distribution of the blankets will first be prioritized to the clients within our Private Practice that have already been identified as in need of this resource. In the event we receive enough donations to meet the needs within our practice, we will then be able to expand the distribution on a larger scale to others in need within the local community.
