Israel has been the heart of our family since we met in 2006 and married in 2013. Together, we have a seventeen-year-old daughter, and he has lovingly helped me raise my oldest daughter, who has special needs. Israel’s presence is woven into every part of our lives—he cooks, cleans, and takes our daughters to appointments, especially as my progressive, incurable disease has made it difficult for me to walk, work consistently, or care for our family on my own. Our income has already been cut in half due to his inability to work, and the threat of his deportation has left us facing an uncertain future.
We are now raising funds to cover urgent legal fees to keep Israel with us. Without him, our daughters would lose their father’s daily support and love. Our youngest is about to graduate high school, and the thought of her father missing this milestone, as well as future moments like college, marriage, or grandchildren, is heartbreaking. Israel shares a special bond with my oldest daughter, who relies on his comfort and companionship every day. The idea of losing him is devastating for her and for all of us.
Israel’s dedication shines in the small moments—making my breakfast, helping me get dressed, walking me to my car, and picking up my medications. He’s always by my side for medical appointments, holding my hand and reassuring me. When I felt isolated due to my illness, he surprised me with a recliner that allowed us to spend time together as a family. He’s also created special traditions, like waking us up with guitar music and singing on birthdays. Israel is not just a husband and father—he is our anchor, and we need him home with us. Your support will help us fight to keep our family together.
