For over 35 years, our dance company has been a pillar in the community — and for the past 15 years, we have proudly called 2896 E 14th Ave in Columbus, Ohio our home.
This is more than a dance studio.
It’s a safe haven for children.
A place where confidence is built, creativity is nurtured, and lifelong memories are made.
But today, we are at risk of losing everything.
Over the years, we’ve faced challenges that could have shut our doors for good.
When COVID-19 hit, we lost a large portion of our dancers and income. As we worked hard to rebuild, we were struck again by a fire in a neighboring (connected) building, forcing us to close and start over once more, without receiving any insurance help from our landlords.
Even through it all, we stayed committed to our community.
We rebuilt. We pushed forward. We refused to give up on our kids.
Now, we are facing a new and urgent crisis.
Our building has recently come under new ownership, and the new landlords are refusing to honor our previous agreement. Our rent has been raised to more than double what we were paying, additional expenses such as their insurance fee, outside maintenance fee, security fees etc.) — an increase we simply cannot sustain while still recovering from past hardships.
We have done our research over the years and applied for grants from the county, city and state, as well as business loans and have gotten NO help! Without immediate support, we risk losing the very space that has served generations of families.
This studio is not just a business —
It’s a second home

A positive outlet that keeps kids inspired and off the streets
