Help keep our community food truck, 'Shellie', on the road

Right now we are feeling the pressure...

For 14 years, Need a Feed has been showing up, not just with food, but with connection, care and a place where people feel seen.
Every meal we serve is a conversation, a moment of dignity, a reminder that someone cares.

But recently, we've been hit with unexpected expenses, essential repairs and costs that we simply couldn't plan for, the kind of things that don't wait.
Things like brakes, hot water and compliance upgrades for Shellie, our food truck... the heart of how we reach people physically.

And it's putting real pressure on our ability to keep going...

Need a Feed is a registered charity through the ACNC, a DGR recipient meaning donations over $2 are tax deductible.

We don't receive government funding, we rely on community.
We rely on people like you, people that believe in what we do.

This is why we are asking for help.
Not to grow.
Not to expand.

Just to keep showing up.

Your donation will go directly towards:
  • Getting Shellie fully compliant and back on the road with a hot water system
  • Covering urgent repair and safety costs like the brakes
  • Keeping our outreach running so we can continue feeding the community

Every dollar helps us keep showing up.

Because for many, this isn't just food...
It's the only place they feel like they belong.
