In March of 2022, my sister lost her husband after a long battle with cancer. Overnight, she became a single mother to 4 children while also navigating grief, loss, and depression. Despite everything, she has continued to show up for her kids every single day with strength, love, and determination.

She was left with their family home, a place full of memories and stability for her children, but also a house that needs significant repairs. Over the last couple of years, she has done everything she possibly could on her own. She managed to replace the furnace and take care of several other necessary repairs without asking for help.

Unfortunately, the roof is now beyond patching. Two roofers have confirmed it needs to be fully replaced, with an estimated cost of $7,000. This is simply not something she can afford right now while covering everyday expenses, caring for her children, and continuing to work through the emotional toll of losing her partner.

We are asking for help so she can keep her home safe, dry, and secure for her family. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward replacing the roof and relieving one major burden from her shoulders.
