Mountain Ash YMCA is busy again. Choir, book club, taekwondo, dance and boot sales fill the building every week, and our volunteers run coffee mornings and events to help keep it going. This Christmas we’re also collecting gifts for care home residents across the valley.

But the boiler for the upstairs has failed, and until it’s replaced the upstairs conference room can’t be used. That means lost bookings for a community building that depends on them to stay open.

We need £2,800 to replace it. The plumber has already confirmed the work, and the new boiler comes with a 7-year guarantee.

Any money raised above the boiler will go towards other urgent repairs on our list, including flooring, fire safety and decorating the gym.

Every pound makes a difference. Please give what you can, and please share this page with friends, family and local groups.

Thank you from everyone at Mountain Ash YMCA.
