Help keep melanie and her daughter in canada

Hi my name is kyle my girlfriend and her daughter are in Canada from the USA. Back in 2020 before covid shut everything down Melanie and her daughter came to help her mom whose husband/ their step-father passed away unexpectedly during open heart surgery. Due to not being able to return because of covid Melanie lost everything back in the states. Melanies mom is physically limited and has required alot of Melanies help over tge years and still continues to need her help. Due to her losing ecerything back in NY she did obtain a lawyer as so she thought was a laywer and recntly found out he was lying to her did nothing to help her and took all the money she did pay into getting legal help to become a permanent resident. Over the time of being here and under the impression her lawyer was helping her she met someone dated and then married, they were to do a sponsorship application however the lies from the lawyer kept coming and over that time Melanie underwent a lot of verbal, mental and emotional abuse not just from her husband but also from his family. Melanies daughter has been through so much emotional and mental damge so much change has happened in this little girls life since she was age 4. Melanie and i had been friends for many of years before fate had finally brought us together. They both have made a life out here and have nothing to go back to in the USA she has been working hard on becoming a canadian permanent residant and further to citizenship and somone called to take them out of the country to the streets. all I am asking is a little help I know it's a lot as we are trying everything to help her and her 9 year old daughter in this amazing country. They have been a blessing to all they meet and both have done alot to even help and volunteer and have very much become apart of our great country. We appreciate any possible help, thank you so very much as the funds will help them obtain the new lawyer. She has been fighting far to long being lied to and false promises and all she's been trying to do is the right thing to further build a life.
