Want to help Lyndsey feel some love?

Lyndsey found out and said Shut It Down! She was extraordinarily grateful for everyone that helped give her a little breathing room. I’m personally so thankful for our village for showing her love and reminding her we have each other other’s backs!! XOXO.

I am going against every ounce of what my sister and I stand for by creating this GoFundMe, and I’m doing it without my sister’s permission or knowledge (she will be so angry!) However, while we both have never felt comfortable to ask for help in life , this time I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and doing this without my sister’s knowledge for my niece and nephews sake, who should not be punished for our pride. Especially given that everyone falls on hard times. Some of us just have a bigger village than others. Unfortunately, her village is very very small.

Life happens to all of us and setbacks are to be expected. Lyndsey has crawled through many of trenches that nobody will ever know about and she always rises up without ever letting anyone know that she was drowning. She’s a tough one and when I hear panic in her voice, I’m humbly calling in the troops.

For what is this life for, if we do not share and care for our fellow loved ones during their time of need? Our steward hearts want to help one another through their tough days! And we all know, Lyndsey helps everybody else, all the time! So I have no shame in sharing this today, because heaven above knows she is deserving of a little help in return!

Lyndsey and her husband have faced some health challenges in recent months. In addition to no pay while out of work, Corey landed himself in the hospital last week with more large expenses and more follow up appointments with hefty costs for procedures and medications. We are working on our end to help get the fridge stocked and bills paid but with school starting next week, Lyndsey is overwhelmed knowing she cannot even begin to think about costs associated with clothes, shoes, and school supplies while they are focused on keeping the lights on.

If you know her, you know she’s the first to think about others! She is always sharing acts of kindness with nothing expected in return. But with a very full plate of responsibility at home with her family, she has survived all her hard knocks thus far with a very small village to lean on when times get tough. If you feel inspired to show her she’s not alone, we’d greatly appreciate for anyone to drop some groceries by her house or send a few bucks, anything will help to make sure her children don’t feel the burn.

We love you, Xo Chandra
