Help Keep Lake St. Catherine's Tradition Alive

For many years, an EXTREMELY generous man orchestrated a professional 4th of July show for all of us to enjoy on Lake St. Catherine. Other than the kind and very generous contributors, it was funded entirely out of his own pocket. Many thought it was a Lake Association sanctioned event. Much to everyone's surprise, it is not! Rick and his family, with the gracious help of Jack Williams and others, spent the time to organize the show, provide the manual labor to set it all up, and hired professionals to deliver the actual show. KM Pyrotechnics, LLC can certainly relate to the amount of work this venture requires!!! THANK YOU RICK!!!

If not for GoFundMe, Rick and his family would have had to pay the $10,000 alone. Sadly, Rick and his family aren't doing the show going forward. WE CAN'T LET THE TRADITION WITHER AWAY!!!

Rick, Jack, and I have all spoken and being someone with experience, KM Pyrotechnics, LLC offers to coordinate the show on Lake St. Catherine this coming year. As the owner, I would be happy to offer my expertise, my equipment, and my labor at no cost, as this lake has brought me MANY happy memories since 1977.

KM Pyrotechnics, LLC is starting this GoFundMe campaign to pay for the following: (1) 1.3g and 1.4g product from a supplier, (2) an insurance policy, (3) and any additional accessories / supplies needed to put on the show, and have it be safe. Being that the company has much of what is needed, money can be saved and we can redirect funds to putting on a different show this year - with more of the contributions actually going to product purchase! Jack's barge is only so big so the show size WILL be limited by THAT (and maybe my 10' x 10' swim float attached.).

The goal is to raise enough money by April 1, 2025 so that the process of beginning the show can commence! . The 12-15 minute show is planned to be set to a music so time is needed. Being someone with a busy, full time job, and limited free time, I need to give myself a few months to complete this task. IF we do not raise enough money, I will do whatever I can to refund your generous contribution. I am new to GoFundMe so I am not 100% sure of the logistics of that and would therefore donate the contributions if not....but let's make this work so we don't have to worry about that!!!
