Hello. My name is Jeremy McDanial and I’ve called Jaco, Costa Rica my home for the last 5yrs. As with most of us Coronavirus has shut down our city, our cozy little beach town, for business. We are all going through this together and we will pull through and come back bigger and better. Until that time comes to reopen businesses I am asking for donations to help so many who have helped me grow my business in Jaco over these last 5yrs.
As many of you know Jaco is a tourist town and heavily relies on the tourist dollar. 90% of Jaco’s businesses are based off of tourism. Unfortunately, as with many Countries, Costa Rica closed its borders to non-citizens meaning no tourists are coming in and won’t be for the foreseeable future. So many people are going to lose their businesses without help. Restaurants, souvenir shops, Captains & their crews, excursion companies, etc.
Many Costa Ricans live paycheck to paycheck and do not have the amenities that we take for granted here in The United States. They also don’t have the luxury of stimulus checks from their Government or leniency with their creditors all while still being heavily taxed. Many of my friends are struggling really bad right now guys. They can’t pay rent, car payments, utilities and even groceries are becoming sparse in some households. No one can work, no one can fish for food, you’re not even allowed on the beach right now. What they’re experiencing there is much worse than what we’re experiencing here financially.
I know we’re all going through some changes financially also and times are definitely not great for many. That said if you can find it in your heart to donate just $5 to help so many that have helped me show you a good time and a great vacation it would be much appreciated. My Captains & crews that put you on that bucket list fish and the staffs of those delicious restaurants that cooked up your catch to perfection really could use it and would be very much grateful. A small amount of money goes a long way in Costa Rica if spent wisely a I’ll make sure that it is.
Donations will be split evenly among these Captains and their crews:
Juan Rojos with Fish Hunter Sports Fishing Randy Delgado with Los Cielos Sports Fishing Chris with Wingman Sports Fishing William Trejos Panga Fishing Esterillos
The Staffs of:
El Coral Seafood Restaurant
Jaco Bar
Graffiti Bistro & Wine Bar
Puddlefish Brewery
Green Room Cafe
Anything helps! Without these people and businesses there would be no Costa World Travel and there would be no Jeremy in Costa Rica. They’ve looked out for you, please try and return the favor if you can. If you haven’t used my services and would like to help the City of Jaco and The Country of Costa Rica still out of the kindness of your heart we will welcome your donations also. Thank you and God Bless.
