Bringing Education, Love & Opportunity Right to Their Doorstep
Hi, I’m Cynthia Allen, founder of Wee Count—a nonprofit mobile preschool program serving underserved children in Solano County, California. In 2018, I transformed a 1993 Carpenter school bus into a warm, welcoming classroom we lovingly call GiGi’s Preschool Experience. Since then, this mobile classroom has been a safe haven of joy, learning, and growth for children ages 2–5 who might otherwise be left behind due to transportation barriers and lack of access.
But now—we need your help to keep this dream rolling.
What We Need Help With:
Bus Maintenance & Upkeep
New tires
Tune-up & regular maintenance
Insurance & registration
Staffing Support
Hire a full-time teacher to support daily curriculum
Hire a part-time driver to safely transport and deliver our services
Classroom Supplies & Upgrades
Learning materials, books, and sensory play items
Safety and accessibility upgrades for the current 1993 bus
Program Expansion
Purchase another bus to extend services to school-age children, offering homework help, enrichment, cultural exploration, and gardening activities.
Every dollar you give directly supports children who need it most. Our program focuses on educational readiness, cultural awareness, healthy eating, and self-worth—values that will follow these children through life. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, no matter where they live.
With your help, we can keep GiGi’s wheels turning and expand our reach to serve even more families. Your donation will fuel more than a bus—it’ll fuel futures.
Thank you for believing in this mission.
With gratitude,
Cynthia Allen
