Hello, my name is Stephen Perguson. Recently, I have fallen on hard times. I lost my job seven months ago, and my unemployment benefits have expired. So, I have been searching for a job constantly. But being 56, it seems people aren’t as eager to hire me. In addition, my wife is unable to work due to medical problems and does not qualify for disability at this point. So, it has come to this; I am asking for help to pay utility bills and provide basic needs for my family, including medical conditions not covered by insurance. I am trying to stay hopeful and optimistic. Still, when I find you cannot buy basic necessities, like toilet paper, food, and personal hygiene items for ourselves and our daughter, I find myself fighting despair. I have applied for assistance and receive EBT benefits, but with inflation, they don’t go too far, even with cutting back on expenses. We are praying this is a temporary situation and are doing our best to survive, but we will appreciate any help. Please get in touch with me or my wife, Lisa Perguson, on Facebook if you need more information. We will be happy to answer any questions. Thank you in advance, and be well.
