Hello, my name is Jenny Green and I am hopeful in raising adoption funds for my dear friend and coworker, Tiffany Harrison, and her husband, Kayleb Harrison.
Their story is as follows...
Kayleb and Tiffany Harrison have been married for 6 years. They have always wanted to have a family of their own. Kayleb comes from a big family and Tiff’s family knows the importance of having and building positive family relationships. Both of them love having an abundance of friends and extended family around. The more, the better. At their home, they have a kids' corner where they have collected toys and books for nieces and nephews to play with whenever they come over to see Uncle Kayleb and Aunt Tiff. Every time Kayleb and Tiff are around their nieces and nephews they just want them to have wholesome, positive experiences. They will always know that Uncle Kayleb and Tiff are good mentors and are always there to support their dreams. In 2019, Tiffany had to get a hysterectomy due to 5 tumors in her uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. Most couples would have been devastated, but anyone that knows Kayleb and Tiff knows that nothing stops them once their minds are set! They eventually started looking at how to build their family differently. That’s when they got involved in the Foster to Adopt program in New Mexico. Though they loved being foster parents, it was hard to see the foster kids leave their home, and not have the ultimate guarantee of adopting a foster child. 2020 came and it was a rough year for anyone alive. Kayleb and Tiff decided to move to Idaho to be closer to Kayleb’s family and have more opportunities. Kayleb found a job he loves and Tiff went back to school to become a math teacher. Yet, even with all the wonderful blessings of family, new friends, and wonderful jobs, something was missing. A child to make the Harrison crew whole. Being the go-getters that Kayleb and Tiff are, they started looking into private adoption. After they found a company that fit their needs and desires, the realization of the incredible cost it would take to adopt a child was devastating. The $50,000 it would cost to adopt would all have to be paid upfront. With this setback, they will eventually be able to save up the money to adopt by the time they are 52. To start a family at the age of 52 is not impossible, but very difficult. We all hope to help Kayleb and Tiffany begin their journey of starting a family as soon as possible!
