Hi, my name is Kayla, and I am writing this with a very heavy heart. On August 27th, my siblings and I experienced the unimaginable — we lost our mother and our siblings their father in a tragic and unexpected way.
There are four of us altogether. My sister and I are the two oldest, and the two youngest are just 16 and 13 years old. While we don’t all share the same father, we have always shared the same family bond — and now more than ever, we are determined to support one another through this heartbreak.
I am doing everything make sure my younger siblings are safe, cared for, and given the chance at a future they deserve. But the reality is that both surviving families are facing enormous challenges — both emotionally and financially.
We are starting this GoFundMe to help us cover:
Funeral and memorial expenses for both fanilies so we can honor our parents properly.
A reliable vehicle to get my high school sibling to school and activities.
College funds for the younger two so their dreams don’t have to be put on hold.
Daily living expenses like food, clothing, and school needs.
Our goal is to raise $200,000. It feels overwhelming to even ask, but these funds would give us the chance to focus on healing and building a future for these children that they deserve.
If you’re able to give, please know that every single donation — no matter the size — will make a difference for us. And if you can’t give right now, sharing this page means just as much.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your love, compassion, and support during the hardest chapter of our lives.
With gratitude,
Kayla, Haley, Roman, and Giana
