Help Kayla & Tyler prepare for new life after loss
Donation protected
I met Kayla almost 3 years ago, and she has given truth to “you can meet someone tomorrow who has better intentions for you than someone you’ve known for years”. And if you have ever been blessed enough to meet Tyler you know that his energy radiates through the room, it truly is “A Pickle Party”.
Kayla and Tyler found out in June that they were 7 weeks PREGNANT with TWINS. They were SHOCKED, EXCITED, and had so much LOVE and EMBRACE for what was ahead of them. With a heavy heart I must share that on September 5th , at only 18 weeks along, Kayla went into labor. The hours following this unexpected labor would be the scariest and most traumatic hours of Kayla and Tyler's lives thus far; as you may be aware a fetus is not viable after a mere 18 weeks. Please take a moment and say a prayer or however you choose to extend love and grace to those beyond, for baby ZEN TYLER MASON <3.
Moments after this unbelievable and traumatizing loss these young parents were now faced with what doctors called defying odds that the next baby would be able to survive term in the womb. Kayla and Tyler decided that this wasn’t something that they were willing to give up on, so between their love and courage they decided that they were going to go the length and prove those odds wrong.
The amazing doctors at Albany Medical Center performed a procedure to keep Baby Mason right where he needed to be for this to have a potential blissful outcome. The procedure was only the BEGINNING; the risks that came along with trying to hold Baby Mason full term are something a young woman should never have to face, but here Kayla and Tyler are, holding strong! Kayla has been in the hospital on bedrest the past 11 WEEKS but I am happy to announce that they have reached their THIRD Trimester and are at 29 WEEKS! Baby Mason can now be born anytime from now and 34 weeks!
Though they have reached an unbelievable milestone for the health of Baby Mason, Kayla and Tyler now need our help. Kayla has been on bedrest for almost 3 months now, not even in the comfort of her own home, grieving an unbearable loss in the best way SHE knows how, all while trying to stay mentally and physically strong for her unborn child. Since Kayla has been physically unable to work Tyler has spent his days and weekends working extra hours and his nights by Kayla’s bedside, making sure that she doesn’t feel alone and trying to grieve the loss of his child the best way HE knows how. Tyler is a young man trying his very best to provide for his coming family but no matter how hard he is trying I think that a little help may not only be in order but also well deserved.
I ask you to please consider making a donation to my best friend, her devoted partner, and an astonishing baby boy!
