Help Kayla & Mick Rebuild After the Flood
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of my little sister, Kayla, her husband Mick, and their three small children who are facing an incredibly overwhelming time right now. In the span of just one day, their home was hit with devastating flood damage, Kayla lost her job unexpectedly, and she’s still recovering from surgery—all while trying to stay strong for their family.
They have three sweet kids: a five-year-old boy, a four-year-old girl, and an almost two-year-old baby girl. The recent storms caused major damage to their home, and like so many others, they don’t have flood insurance. While the house is still standing, it requires major repairs to make it safe and livable again for their family.
To make matters even harder, Kayla lost her job the very same day the flooding happened. Mick has been doing everything he can to hold the family together, but with Kayla healing, no income, and three little ones to care for, they are facing an uphill battle.
If you know Kayla and Mick, you know they would never ask for help. They’re the type of people who would give you the shirt off their back, drop everything to help someone in need, and do it all with a smile. Now, they’re the ones in need—and we’re hoping to rally around them the way they’ve always done for others.
We’re raising funds to help with:
• Urgent home repairs and cleanup
• Replacing essential items damaged by the flood
• Covering basic living expenses while Kayla recovers and looks for new work
We understand that so many others in our community are also facing hard times right now, and our hearts are with them too. If you’re able to help in any way—whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping them in your prayers—it would mean the world to this family as they work to rebuild their lives.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and generosity. It truly means more than words can say.
