Our beautiful sister Kayla has recently received news that no one ever expects to hear — she’s been diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer.

In just a few short weeks, her world has changed in ways none of us could have imagined. Yet even in the face of fear and uncertainty, Kayla continues to meet each day with the same strength, grace, and determination that have always defined her. She is fighting this battle with courage — but she shouldn’t have to fight it alone.

Kayla is a devoted single mother to two amazing young kids who are the light of her life. Everything she does — every long day, every late night, every sacrifice — is for them. She’s spent her life giving her children the love, stability, and happiness they deserve. Now, as she faces this diagnosis, her greatest wish is simply to keep life as normal as possible for them.

Anyone who knows Kayla knows the kind of woman she is — strong, independent, loving, and selfless. She’s the person who shows up for everyone, who gives without asking, who carries others even when her own load is heavy. Her heart is enormous, and her spirit is unshakable.
