Hi my name is Jordyn and I am fundraising for my dear friend Kayla. The past two months have been an absolute nightmare for her, one that I couldn’t imagine as a mother myself. Her husband is doing all he can to drag out divorce and custody as a way to control her, the only way he can, by taking away her children. I have known Kayla for years and she is a devoted mother who gives back to the community. While raising three kids, she is currently in her graduate program to become a social worker. This leaves little time for her to earn a full income. She is barely making ends meet and now she is having to worry everyday about how to pay for lawyers. Kayla would gladly work things out in mediation but he wants to drag it out in court knowing Kayla doesn’t have the financial and family support he does. I’m asking that we be that family for Kayla and show her that there are still people that care for a struggling single mom who loves her kids.
