Update: 9/8/25
We are aware of Kayla’s most recent disappearance. The funds raised through the GoFundMe remain intact and untouched. We are currently working with our attorney to explore options for placing the money into a trust, which will ensure it can only be used for specific needs related to the children. Until those arrangements are finalized, no one will have access to these funds. If that is not possible everyone will be refunded. Thank you so much.
For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact GoFundMe directly.
Recently, our community was shaken when Kayla Bailey went missing. By the grace of God, she has been found safe and alive. But while her return brought relief, the reality of her situation has left Kayla and her children facing unimaginable challenges.
Kayla is a survivor of a devastating domestic violence encounter that forced her and her children into fear, instability, and heartbreak. She is still recovering—mentally, emotionally, and physically—from what she has endured. At the same time, their home is now in foreclosure, and Kayla has been left without the stability and support she needs.
As the founders of TKS America, we—Brittany Griffin and my husband Najee Griffin are starting this GoFundMe to raise funds to help Kayla and her children rebuild their lives. Our goal is to get Kayla financially set up so that she and her children can start over in a safe, stable home—far away from the pain and circumstances that have held them back. This is about giving them the opportunity to completely separate from the past and begin a new chapter filled with healing, security, and hope.
We are asking for your help. Every donation—big or small—will go directly toward helping Kayla secure housing, provide for her children, and cover essential needs as they rebuild their lives.
Please consider donating today to help Kayla and her children take their first steps toward healing and independence.
If you are unable to give, please share this fundraiser to spread the word.
Together, we can show Kayla and her children that they are not alone, and that they have a community ready to stand behind them as they start fresh.
Update 10/3/2025
This fundraiser is for Kayla Bailey’s five children. I, Erin Harmuth, Kayla’s paternal aunt, currently have custody of three of the children, while another family member has custody of the other two.
We understand this fundraiser was originally intended to help Kayla and her children rebuild their lives. However, the children are no longer able to be with their parents, and both parents have chosen not to participate in helping them. At this time, the funds will go directly toward the children’s needs and will be used to help rebuild the children’s lives.
I am currently listed as the beneficiary of this fund because the children are not old enough to be named. However, all funds are going into an account set up specifically for the children’s needs and will not be used for any other purpose. This is safeguarded through a legal agreement to ensure transparency and accountability.
The donations will cover things such as:
• Therapy and counseling expenses (including co-pays and services not covered by Medicaid)
• Clothing, school supplies, and other essentials
• Medical needs and other costs directly related to the children’s well-being
All money raised will go directly to the children’s account and will only be used to help rebuild their lives and secure their future.
Thank you everyone for making this possible
