To everyone reading this,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of my best friend, Kayla. A recent and unexpected fire took everything from her and her two children. In a matter of moments, their home and all of their belongings were gone.

Kayla is an incredible mother to her two kids — her 1-year-old son, Ryan, and her 11-year-old daughter, Aubrey. Right now, they are facing the unimaginable: starting completely over with nothing. They are in urgent need of basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter, as well as financial support to help them rebuild their lives.

Kayla has always been the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation, and it breaks my heart to see her in this position. As her best friend, I’m doing everything I can to support her, but she truly needs help from a caring community to get back on her feet.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping Kayla provide safety, stability, and comfort for Ryan and Aubrey during this incredibly difficult time.
