There is an immediate need to assist my niece Kayla, 20 and her father John Yadon, 56 along with their dog Herbie after a fire began in their home near Marquette, MI after midnight on January 26th 2025 which destroyed the home and has left them with nothing during this winter.

Fortunately, they all escaped unharmed including the dog, and firemen showed up quickly to contain it so a vehicle was spared any damage, along with two small out buildings. There is renters insurance on the home but it won’t cover the cost to rebuild.

Due to health issues John has been unavailable to work for several months prior to the fire, and Kayla is applying for positions to try and get some income going. Currently they are living with friends.

The intent of this request is to raise awareness, and help support the family with donations for this cause. Please prayerfully consider your support in whatever amount you can provide and pass this along to others as you see fit.
