Help Kay Repair Her Car and Ease Her Pain
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Dixie, and I’m reaching out for help for my mom, Kay, who has always been my rock. She has fought for me when she had nothing, and now I want to fight for her.
Right now, she’s facing an overwhelming challenge. This week, while driving on the freeway, the hood of her car flew up, completely shattering her windshield. Her car is no longer safe or legal to drive, leaving her without reliable transportation.
My mom has endured so much in her life—multiple car accidents, chronic pain, and severe arthritis that makes everyday tasks difficult. She has a prosthetic knee, a severely damaged foot from an accident in 2020 that required four unsuccessful surgeries, and worsening back pain that is affecting her mobility. Despite all of this, she worked hard to go back to school last year and did amazing in her first semester. But this semester has been filled with setback after setback, making it nearly impossible for her to keep up.
I no longer live with her, but she is trying to support herself, our two dogs, and her parrot on just $1,000 a month. With no way to work and no means to fix her car, she’s struggling to stay afloat.
I want to help her through this tough time, but I can’t do it alone. Any amount—whether it’s $5 or simply sharing this page—makes a difference. Your support means helping her get her car fixed, easing her financial stress, and giving her the chance to rebuild.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and donating. Your kindness gives my mom a fighting chance.
