Help Katy & Nolan grieve the loss of baby Sanzio
Donation protected
Our beloved Piacentini family has just endured the unimaginable loss of their child.
Earlier this month, young Nolan and Katy were expecting their first son and sister Charlotte her first brother. He was affectionately named Sanzio III in memory of Nolan's elder brother, who passed away in 2018 under traumatic circumstances. Sadly, owing to a rare complication called 'severe placental abruption,' baby Sanzio never got to meet and be loved by his family. He was a stillborn child.
Such an unexpected loss is a pain no family can prepare for, and this is the second time Sanzio's passing has left the Piacentinis experiencing heartbreak.
Katy also endured multiple painful events in the lead-up to her pregnancy. She had to be rushed to the hospital due to suffering significant blood loss, and it was there that they tragically discovered that the baby showed no vitals. Due to her continued bleeding, Katy needed two back-to-back emergency surgeries: a C-section to remove the fetus and another to control further blood loss. In total, she required seven units of blood and four units of plasma to help her stabilize, together with three days in ICU and post-partum, with close and constant monitoring.
While we cannot remove the pain of losing their precious baby boy, we can all rally together to help the young family through the mounting financial burden they now face between the ambulance, surgery, hospital and funeral costs.
Your help with donations will help them ease their grieving during this tragic moment and take some time away to be with their loved ones.
Baby Sanzio III weighed in at 7lbs 8oz and was 18 inches long. He passed away on October 12th, 2022.
