For 24 years, Kathye devoted her life to the school district, touching countless young lives with her kindness, patience, and passion for education. She loved her job deeply and was truly loved by her students in return. Her dedication left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

Fourteen years ago, shortly after retiring, Kathye was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Since then, she has fought a long, brave battle with this heartbreaking disease. Over the years, her condition has progressively worsened, and now she requires around-the-clock care.

Our family has been doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and cared for at home — but as her needs have increased, it’s become necessary for someone to be with her at all times. Because of that, we’ve had to miss work and lose income, making it harder to keep up with expenses.

We are asking for help during this challenging time. Your donations will go toward:

• Covering lost wages for family members who are caring for Kathye full-time

• Providing comfort and care for her as her condition advances

• Helping the family prepare for funeral and final arrangements when the time comes
