I am a domestic violence and rape survivor, and right now I am going through a really hard time at home dealing with emotional abuse and a toxic environment. Every day is a struggle, and I know that for my own well-being, I need to get out as soon as possible. I have a job and I’m working hard, but it’s just not enough to cover all the costs of starting over on my own. I’m in the process of getting emancipated and planning to move out sometime this summer, but I can’t do it alone. More than anything, I just want to be free, happy, and safe for once in my life at a young age.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward helping me secure a deposit for a safe place to live, pay for basic necessities like food and essentials, and save up for a cheap car so I can get around without having to walk everywhere. Until I’m able to get a car, your support will also help me cover the cost of Ubers so I can get to work and take care of myself. Every little bit will make a huge difference in helping me build a safer, more stable future.
