Here we go, not something I like doing, but I need your help. If you don’t know me, my name is Kate, I’m a photographer / videographer based in Los Angeles. I mostly work in music, but I also shoot a lot of events, cars, product photography, portraits and cosplay. Unfortunately the last few years between Covid, all the travel and financial connections to my home being cut and just the state of the world, things have not been easy. Despite consistently working and keeping myself busy I do not have enough funds to cover the next visa. My current one is expiring in the end of this year and it’s time to renew it, which is a costly process. The breakdown my lawyers gave me, which includes lawyer fees, administrative fees, union fees, USCIS filing fees, and premium processing, which I have to pay, add up to a significant sum of money. I am slightly rounding up the total to ensure I can cover any additional costs that may arise by the time I file. If you can afford to help, I would be extremely grateful.
