My partner Jordan and I have always worked hard to build a better future for our family. Recently, we faced a series of unexpected challenges that have left us starting over with very little. After our car broke down, we had to spend all our savings on a replacement, and soon after, we secured a new apartment to give our kids a safe place to call home. These big expenses have taken everything we had, and now, as the holidays approach, we’re struggling to afford even the most basic furniture and household essentials.

We want nothing more than to give our children a comfortable and memorable Christmas, but right now, we’re worried about how we’ll provide beds, mattresses, a couch, and all the small items that make a house feel like home. Even things like cleaning products and groceries are a stretch as we work to get back on our feet. Every cent we earn goes toward building our future, but it’s hard to do it all at once.

We do not in any way expect anybody to help us during this time, as we know everyone is struggling. But any help, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. While we use this time to get back on our feet and secure a safe home for ourselves and our family, we hope that one day we can be in a place to help others.
