Hello!

For the last several years I have been through a lot. Loss of jobs, house fire, failed relationship that turned toxic. I've faced a lot of set backs and now I am lower than ever.

Right now, I am currently living with my ex. It is not a healthy living environment and I have been trying to get out of this situation for a long time. I am off of the lease as of May 1st, so time is running out for me.

In February, I had a decent stash saved to leave. I finally had an out. But then I lost my job and now that stash is gone. It is now April 12th and I FINALLY got a job offer.

I once had the funds to leave, but I was lacking the income. Now I have the income, and am lacking the funds. I also need to be able to afford to get to and from work in the mean time until I start bringing in checks.

It is only me, and my cat Moogie. Moogie is a special needs cat and I love him with everything I have. In fact, he is all I have. Which is why I am making this gofundme. If I end up homeless, I will have to rehome him. And finding a foster for him has been impossible.

I don't want to say goodbye to my cat. For those of you that have been in such a dark place in life, that had no one to turn to, and held on for your pets understand. I also do not want to be on the streets of Baltimore. There is not a lot of resources out there and I am not eligible for a lot of what is out there. Even finding an overnight shelter is hard.

If you have a few dollars to spare, I would be forever grateful. If you could just share, I would be forever grateful for that as well. I know times are hard for everyone right now. But I need to put my ego aside for my boy and my safety. Thank you for reading
