Kat is one of those rare people whose energy and kindness have seemed endless to me. She’s an amazing and outgoing person who has always found the strength to care for her family, raise three wonderful kids, run marathons, listen to my woes, and still be the one who shows up to throw the best birthday parties for everyone in her family. She brings joy wherever she goes.

But now, she needs help.

Kat has recently been struggling with what is likely an autonomic disorder—an overwhelming and debilitating condition that has taken away her ability to do even the simplest daily tasks. Something as simple as walking down her stairs has become and incredible hurdle. For those who know Kat you probably think that this can not be true...but I assure you it is. I have seen her miss some crucial moments in her families life because she is essentially bedridden.

She is currently unable to work and is facing some serious hurdles with medical bills and maintaining a household. It is likely that her condition will also mean that her husband will have limited opportunities to work making the financial burden that much harder. The woman who has spent her life lifting others up now finds herself unable to support the family she loves so dearly.
