Kassem and Fatima came into this world too soon.

Both were diagnosed with the most severe form of Retinopathy of Prematurity — Stage 5.

We’ve fought for their sight, one surgery at a time, one eye at a time.

But the fight isn’t over.

I’m their mother.

And my only dream is for them to see —

To see my face.

To see each other.

To see the world.
