I am five months pregnant, and recently my water broke unexpectedly. Because of this, I have been admitted to Hershey Hospital, where the doctors anticipate I will need to stay for several months to ensure the best possible outcome for my baby. This has been a very difficult and emotional time for me, as I am separated from my two other children and unable to be at home to care for them.

I took FMLA through my job, but unfortunately, I do not have benefits or private insurance, so I do not qualify for short-term disability. I am a single mom so this means I have no income coming in while I am hospitalized. I am worried about how I will keep up with my household bills and provide for my children’s necessities during this time.

I am asking that any friends and family please help with anything that you can spare—even if it’s just prayers. I could use all the prayers I can get at this time. It is really hard for me to reach out for help; I work hard for everything that I have, but I wouldn’t be doing this if I had any other options. Thank you so much for your support and kindness.
