Hey guys! I have exciting news to share. My name is Kasi and I am going on my first ever mission trip to the Bahamas with my church called The Hope Company. While there, my team and I will be doing work projects to help the children living there and their families. We will be doing prayer walks with the people in the local communities and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.

I can't wait for this amazing opportunity that I am being handed. As the Lord has blessed me in ways I can't began to count, I am so excited to see him move in other kids lives who haven't heard the name of Jesus. This trip will be very emotional for me as I am spreading my wings a bit and stepping out of my comfort zone. I usually like to stay away from moments that might remind me of the days I was in my orphgpane but something in my soul is jumping for this opportunity. Knowing that I have been given a second chance in life, not just in spirit but physically as well, I can't hold back on the opportunity to go and be there for others the same way the Lord placed people in my path when I was young and had no one. My first ever pastor, David Chadwick, has taught me something that will always stick with me. He says "Know God, Grow in the Lord and Go serve for the Lord". "Know, Grow and GO". Using his teaching I have taken time to study the Lord's word and have a relationship with him that now he is calling me to go.

The Goal is to raise $2,000. This will cover my plane ticket to and from, food, and living expenses while I'm there for 8 days, in addition to my luggage fees and some gifts such as clothes, toys and snacks to be able to take for the families. I can't wait to report the ways the Lord works on this trip when I get back through sharing pictures on social media and in person contact with each and every one of you.
