Help Karin and Bob Keep Their Cottage!!

Teacher, Artist, Activist, Believer, Friend, Family, Comforter, Nurturer - These are just some of the ways to describe Karin and Bob.

Two souls who have dedicated all of themselves selflessly to their loved ones, their community, their church, their school for decades…..now need your support to help keep the home that provides joy, wellness & reprieve.

As many may know Bob received a dementia diagnosis several years back, which caused Karin to take early retirement from teaching to be his caretaker.  As a result, this has left them without financial security and they struggle to meet their monthly expenses. 

For decades, their little cottage right outside provincetown, mass has provided solace and been their refuge--recharging their batteries, providing joy, peace, and inspiration.  But now, it supports better health outcomes for Bob.  Bob does so much better when there, but due to their financial constraints, they are about to lose their cherished cottage. 

We as a community can help make it possible for them to keep the cottage and pay their bills until Karin begins collecting her social security in 18 months.

As this community knows, they would never ask for help on their own. Three local friends that have known Karin & Bob for decades (one since she was 2 years old!) found each other and started this fundraiser because they know how much the little cottage means to them.  They also believe strongly that Bob & Karin’s loved ones would want to help, if given the opportunity.  

They will have to start the selling process of the cottage shortly, so, as you can imagine, time is of the essence.  Please give what you can—any amount will help them to keep it longer.  We are confident that together, we can make their dream of keeping the cottage a reality!!
