Hi everyone,

My name is Tamara Orendain, and I am fundraising for my brother, Karim.

I'd like to share with you the recent unfortunate incident. He was involved in a scooter accident, resulting in a traumatic brain injury and multiple fractures on his head, along with three fractures on his collarbone.

After a spending six days in the trauma ward, the medical team determined that brain surgery wasn't necessary, but a slow recovery lies ahead. This path includes 4-6 months of speech therapy, brain therapy, and physical therapy. There's still uncertainty regarding potential collarbone surgery. Currently, he is unable to work, and his recovery will be gradual, though he's showing progress daily. As the doctors said, he is really lucky to be here.

The mounting hospital and medical bills, along with the costs of weekly therapy sessions, rent, food, and other essential expenses, are creating a significant financial burden. We would be immensely grateful for any support you can offer during this challenging time.

Those who know Karim, know he is working very hard to get back on track and return to his role behind the bar.
