I hope this message finds you well. I want to start by saying that writing this has not been easy. Asking for help is something I’ve struggled with, but I’m learning that sometimes strength means leaning on your community — and leaning on God — especially when you’re doing everything you can for the ones you love.

I’m stepping out on faith and trusting that the Lord will provide for me and my son, even if it’s through the kindness of others. I’m writing with both hope and humility to ask for your support as my son Kristian (15 months) and I prepare to take a major step forward in our lives.

Earlier this year, I lost my job, and since then, it’s been a real challenge trying to catch up financially while still keeping things steady for my little one. Now, I’ve been given a time-sensitive opportunity to move into safe and secure housing.

We’ve been presented with a time-sensitive opportunity to secure stable housing, and I need to raise $2,800 to cover the security deposit before I lose this chance. This new home is more than just a place to live — it’s the foundation I need to continue building a better future for my son.

I’ve been doing everything I can, but without steady income, saving for this deposit on my own has been incredibly hard. That’s why I’m asking for support.

I’ll be starting the final year of my Master’s program this September, and with the extension I’ve been given, I’m now working to have our housing secured by September 27th. By that time, I’ll already be in the early stages of the semester—which is why I’m praying to get settled in before my academic caseload intensifies.

Having a stable place by then would allow me to start the year with a clear mind, a safe space for Kristian, and fewer stressors pulling at my energy. I want to give my all to this final stretch—not just for me, but to build the future my son truly deserves.

I know that God has carried us this far, and I’m holding on to faith that He will continue to make a way.
