Help Kari in her time of need

Hi community! This fundraiser is being organized for a dear neighbor and her sweet pup who lost everything in a house fire on the evening of 9/28/23. Kari came home from a vacation that evening and attempted to build a fire in her fireplace when disaster struck. Thankfully her and her beloved dog made it out safely, but there was not much (if anything) spared in the end. Kari has lived in our neighborhood since she was 8 years old. If you were in the area, you’ve likely seen her walking 4-legged companion as she always does, or working in her garden. She’s a kind soul with a neighborhood of support, but she’s lost all her things and her home in a blink. Support 7 has set her and her fur baby up in a nearby hotel, but Kari will need support as she begins to pick up the pieces of this terrible tragedy, and works with insurance to figure out next steps. We are working to build a list of needs for them should you prefer to donate items!
