Kampala Street Kids Foundation-Led by Kisegerwa Daudi
In the heart of Uganda’s bustling capital, Kampala Street Kids Foundation, founded and led by Kisegerwa Daudi, is a beacon of hope for children living on the streets and families struggling in poverty across surrounding villages.
Each day, Daudi and his team walk through dusty alleys, roadside corners, and overcrowded markets, reaching out to street-connected boys and girls who have no home, no food, and often no one to care for them. Many of these children ran away from broken homes. abused, or were orphaned due to illness or poverty.
This foundation offers more than just means and clothing. It provides a sense of belonging, safety, and opportunity. Children are fed hot meals, given basic health checkups, and slowly introduced to learning through informal education and life-skills programs. For those willing and ready, the foundation helps reconnect them with family or places them in safer living environments.
But the vision doesn’t stop at the city. Kisegerwa Daudi has extended the foundation’s outreach into many villages where families live in extreme poverty. These rural households often face hunger, poor sanitation, and no access to school. The foundation supports them with food parcels, farming tools, school supplies, and vocational training, empowering them to care for their children and break the cycle of poverty.
Thanks to Kampal Street Kids Foundation, hundreds of children are now learning, smiling, and daring to dream again. And in the quiet corners of struggling villages, families are finding new strength and hope.
