My name is Kameron, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself after a violent attack completely changed my life. On August 13, 2026, a man broke into my girlfriend’s apartment and attempted to take her life, and I was brutally stabbed in the process while trying to protect her. My first hospital stay lasted about five days and, unfortunately, left me feeling disrespected, ignored, and like my care wasn’t truly in my best interest. My second hospital stay brought even more complications, which have now potentially doubled my recovery time. On top of trying to heal physically and emotionally, I’ll also be dealing with the court process over the next year or so as I hope to see justice served and the person responsible held accountable.
At this point, I expect to be out of work for around four months. I’m doing everything I can to move forward, including looking for a work-from-home job that I can manage while I recover. In the meantime, I’m asking for a little help getting through the next couple of months with basic expenses like bills, food, medications, and doctor visits. I’m not expecting anyone to take care of everything for me—I’m just hoping to have enough support to get by while I heal and get back on my feet. Anything helps, and even sharing this means a lot to me. I truly appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my story, donate, share, or simply keep me in their thoughts. Thank you.
