Kala is an elderly woman in her 80s living in India. She is the sole carer for her adult disabled son. Despite her age, she works daily in other people’s homes cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry to provide for the two of them.

Her home is now in urgent need of major maintenance. The roof is unstable and unsafe. The structure needs repairs to remain liveable. She cannot afford these costs on her own.

We are raising £10,000 to repair her roof, make her home safe, and support her ongoing care responsibilities. This support will directly improve her living conditions and help her continue caring for her son with dignity.
