Hello, my name is Kaitlin. I’m currently raising money for my family.

See, we fell on extremely hard times. My dad has been struggling with his health for a few years now. Back in August, my dad was laid off work; he’s a semi-truck driver. He went to the hospital and found out he had a mass blockage in his bladder causing him issues. He got surgery, but while that was going on, he also found out he was in the early stages of kidney failure. They put in a stent, and he was okay. He went back to work over the road, and he started not feeling good. He fell a few times, and now he’s dependent on a walker to get around.

When he came home, he found out the mass was actually muscle invasive. The cancer has grown through the muscle layer of the bladder. But because we were going to lose everything we have, including our home, he left back on the road. He was going to come home in December on medical leave so he could start his treatments. However, while doing that, he was applying for disability, and he was denied for it. I also learned I’m currently pregnant.

Now, instead, his company has fired him because he uses a walker. We live in Florida, and his company is based in Missouri, where they are leaving him stranded with no way home. With all this going on, we’re on the verge of losing everything we have, our home, our one and only car, I mean everything we’ve worked so hard for. I know it’s a lot to ask for, but we would really appreciate any help we can get. He is unable to get his cancer treatment now because of everything going on. We’re really struggling bad and could really use the help; we’re about to be homeless.

Yes, myself and my mom work; however, with how bad our bills have stacked up from his company not giving him miles, we’re unable to pay them all. I know a lot of people are struggling with their own things. We wouldn’t ask if we didn’t really need the help, but we’re down to our last straw. We’ve been dealt the wrong hand so much, but we normally can crawl out, but this time it’s different. I’ve had to give up a lot of our stuff the last couple of months because of struggles financially. Anything would help. Please share, and keep me and my family in your prayers, please.
